Instruction by Josie Lawhon, dance 8-11 pm. $2 at the door. Directions: From
Center Street, turn south at 108th Street. Turn Right into Rockbrook
Village, about two blocks.
- THURSDAYS...LEGION CLUB POST 1
At 78th & Dodge, dance 7:30-10:30
pm. $2 cover at the door. Directions: From Dodge Street, Turn
and go north for a block or so, turn left at Union Pacific Streamliner
Credit Union sign (that is Davenport Street). You will see the Legion
Club immediately on your left.

August 18th is the party of the month at
the Legion. Wear your Hawaiian shirt, your shorts and come
for some dancing fun...snacks and decorations will be Hawaiian
style. Hostesses for the party are Connie DiLorenzo and
Sandy Reimers. |

Night Out 'Dance Magic' at the Keno Cabana in Bennington
'Dance
Magic'...the theme for the Omaha Swing Club dance August 18h,
from 7:30pm till midnight, at the Keno Cabana in Bennington.
Enjoy dancing on the beautiful dance floor, food, door prizes
and fun!!! It's easy to find, just take Pacific to 156th
Street, turn North to Bennington...turn right at Warehouse Road
and left on 2nd Street. Tickets for club members will be $5 in
advance on sale now, $7 at the door...$7 for non members in
advance and $10 at the door. Save some $$$, get yours now!!!
In addition to our great night of dancing, thanks to Don and
Esther Amick of Grand Island, who have agreed to bring their
many styles of dance shoes, and have graciously offered door
prizes of a 'private lesson' in Omaha, and a $20 gift
certificate toward the purchase of a pair of dance shoes. |

and Turns & Technique. Workshop Admission is $60 for one

| FEBRUARY 25, 2006...CARIBBEAN CRUISE Don and Esther Amick
are putting together a Princess Cruise. Dancing on the Ft.
Lauderdale Riverwalk on Friday, staying at the Marriott Hotel,
sailing out of Ft. Lauderdale on February 25th, returning March
4th. Advantage of going as a group, they pick up the hotel tab &
other "onboard" amenities. The Caribbean Princess is a
beautiful ship, nearly 900 balcony staterooms, movies under the
